The Final Warning by James Patterson

In this book they find out that Max's mom is Dr. Martinez who Max met in Arizona. So they go to the South Pole to help the earth, and everybody thinks its really cool that they are helping. So they go to Antarctica and they are in a boat and they see mountains, all of them see mountains. Then they discover that government people are following them and trying to make them do stuff. Some of the flock get new abilities. I would recommend this book if you like Maximum Ride books.
